Green Party’s Tina ‘TOXIC’ Rothery to stand for joint leader of the England and Wales party.

Tina ‘TOXIC’ Rothery to stand for joint leader of the Green Party of England and Wales

On Saturday the 24th July 2021, Tina ‘toxic’ Rothery and Martin Hemingway threw their hat in the ring for the next leader of the Green Party of England Wales, after Sian Berry has chosen to step down. Better known as ‘Toxic Tina’, because of the way she abused grassroots activists/campaigners in the anti-fracking movement. Rothery’s credentials and experience are quite the opposite of Hemingway’s for many reasons, which I would hope Hemingway will play close attention to and withdraw before his credibility is tarnished in the same way.

According to Hemmingway in Wembley Matters, “standing in it was not a realistic plan until conversations with Tina coalesced into a determination that something had to be done, and that we were the team that could re-establish the credibility of the Green Party”.

In Toxic Tina fashion, for those of us who know how she works, Hemingway is just one of a long line of people Rothery is using to jump up the ladder of power. This is something she did to great effect discursively through the anti fracking movement, aided by NGOs and the Green Party, even at the cost of everyone else’s right to protest, which I will discuss further on. Hemingway obviously doesn’t know Rothery like activists in Northern England do, but if the pair are successful he will soon get to see the real Toxic Tina and inevitably her narcissistic abuse.

There is no dispute that Hemingway has the experience and credentials for the post as stated in the Wembley Matters article. He brings “fifty years of political campaigning experience, including 12 years as a councillor on Leeds City Council, the second largest council in the country. Experience in formulating and carrying out policy; experience of a wide range of governmental and non-governmental organisations, experience of meetings, hustings, television and radio, including a speaking tour of Japan as Chair of UK Nuclear Free Local Authorities.”

In the Green Party, he has been a General Election candidate five times, a City Council candidate many times; all with hustings, meetings and extensive media work. Ten years of active involvement in GP governance, as a member of GPRC, and as a member of SOC. Preparation of agendas for Conference brought him close to policy concerns of members, and involvement on the equivalent committee for the Global Greens conference widened the range of concerns. See here.

It is my duty as a working-class, grassroots campaigner, who for many years witnessed her tactics, to write this blog sharing all that I know about Rothery. I and many others experienced her abuse towards peaceful protestors and community members whilst she worked alongside NGOs, Police constabularies, strategic security services and intelligence services against grassroots anti-frackers. I have detailed many incidents in my new book ‘The Road to Kill the Bill’. In fact, Rothery is a central character in over a dozen chapters. I would urge all Green Party members who have the opportunity to vote on this election to read my book before they do. In fact, I urge everyone from trade unionists, community members, environmentalists and social justice campaigners to do so, to understand how she has assisted in the denial of our rights to protest. The details of the High Court injunctions substantially show this discursive involvement.

This behaviour began in 2014, during a High Court case when Rothery gave Cuadrilla an injunction for longer than they were asking. In 2017, she was instrumental in an attempt alongside others to legitimise protest in a pen rather than directly outside the Cuadrilla site. Many anti-fracking activists have a catalogue of videos of her abuse and also her evidence-gathering on behalf of the state and the fracking industry, such as calling people’s names out on livestreams and declaring when they were breaking injunctions. Her narcissistic outbursts were witnessed many times at Preston New Road in Lancashire against grassroots campaigners who didn’t tow Rothery’s line on behalf of Lancashire Constabulary and Cuadrilla.

Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill

To understand of the depths of corruption Rothery is involved in, look at the silence of all the mainstream press, trade unions and the Green Party on the contents of my book. Even a Facebook group for blacklisted workers removed a post I shared about the book because of a direct message from one of her team.

As many people now know, unless you are singing from the same hymn sheet as the political and media class, you don’t get a voice in the media these days or are systematically attacked. Anyone who questions them are labelled far left, far right or a conspiracy theorist. This gaslighting of the general public is all part of the plan as we march ever closer to authoritarianism. Make no mistake, Rothery would be right at home in the company of corrupt politicians, no doubt why she has consistently been given a voice in the media.

Her work alongside other agents, who can be linked all the way back to Occupy, has been instrumental for Home Secretary Priti Patel in the production of the public order part of the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill, which recently passed the House of Commons and is now with the Lords.

The true face behind the mask of Rothery, the one many of us grassroots campaigners know, was laid bare for all to see at the Tory party conference in 2018. See here

Controlled opposition

Controlled opposition is any person, group or organisation that claims to be opposing but is actually a line of defence against those really opposing something. This is done through the media, NGOs and other corporate and state agents. Gaslighting, and the psychological abuse which stems from it, is the weapon of choice to confuse and discredit in all settings these days. One example, in 2017, Rothery was when given ‘lifetime member’ status and later that year promoted to the campaigns committee of the national executive of the Green Party. Her lifetime member status came on the back of a late 2016 High Court case, that, to this day, no one except Cuadrilla and the judge know the final details of because no one was allowed to witness proceedings. Before that court case all the controlled opposition organisations and media were promoting Rothery as a Grandmother (emotional manipulation) fighting against the Oil and Gas industry. In the days before the case, the story was in multiple newspapers and TV. If you didn’t know Rothery before then you certainly did after. This came less than four weeks before Cuadrilla were about to start work, high profiling her enough to discredit anyone who called her out, whilst Cuadrilla got both feet in the door.

In 2018, Cuadrilla allowed a Rothery-led protest, called Women in White, to continue, whilst everyone else’s demonstrations were refused (evidenced in court documents). Of course, I know this was so she could continue to promote a discourse of her and nanas blockading Cuadrilla for ‘1000 days’. This is absolute nonsense, the only people she blocked for 1000 days, were grassroots activists.

The war on the 99% continues at pace.

Who are the people behind promoting this woman with no experience to the top of the Green Party? The establishment including NGOs? It would make sense after her work on their behalf during the anti-fracking campaign. All evidence suggests she is working hand-in-hand with the 1% running the world at the moment.

After all, this is how deep the working class has been infiltrated by these people. They use the same labels of anti-semitism and misogyny as they used against Corbyn to destroy his leaderships. They would use these same tactics, though, because their aim is to destroy any likely opposition on behalf of the 1%.

Silence is deafening

I’ve sent the pdf of the book to Natalie Bennett and Caroline Lucas. Caroline’s chief of staff replied to me by email, saying email and contents would be passed to Lucas. Nothing from Bennett though, which is not surprising, considering Rothery made Bennett a quasi anti-fracking nana. I’ve also sent the pdf to the TUC and they have also not responded. Shami Shakrabati is another who has a copy of the book and has also not responded. Their silence speaks volumes.

If Rothery is elected, we have the Kier Starmer of the Green Party continuing the destruction of any opposition to authoritarianism. It’s not by coincidence these people have risen to power from nowhere, whilst our rights are being eroded. I say to those who’ve been hoodwinked into believing the Green Party is the opposition to the business as usual politics of Westminster, be careful what you wish for!

Five-star reviews and testimonies from grassroots campaigners on the newly released book ‘The Road to Kill the Bill’ flood in.

On May the 18th the eagerly anticipated book by many people concerned with human rights and the right to protest launched. Since then the five star reviews have flooded in from right across the UK. Around two weeks later the book went on sale in North America and other parts of the world. Of course the book is important everywhere because this assault on rights to protest is happening across the planet. Only this week the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill passed through the House of Commons in the UK with a damning majority of 100. Now it’s with the House of Lords and one can only hope they stall it long enough for the people to defeat authoritarianism becoming law.

Central to the books contents is the work of state infiltration and corporate agents undermining grassroots campaigners in an attempt to eradicate unmanaged protest, in favour of across the board managed protest, therefore no protest at all. However, its not just the above who have been working against us, it involves political parties, NGO’s and most recently Extinction Rebellion.

Below is variation of some of the early reviews for a wider understanding of the books contents and why everyone needs to read it. This issue involves everyone against the controlled opposition, which is a tiny percentage of the population but they are leading all movements.

“Highly perceptive. Each chapter contains numerous nuggets of rare understanding of the British deep state and the struggle for our laws and customs. The author is a great embodiment of the spirit of Liverpool and the unbowed honesty of its people.”

Alexander

“Wow Joe, I knew a lot about fracking after meeting you and other safe people at PNR.. I didn’t know the full story but now I do… The happenings you have written so well about at PNR were noted by many and yeah we all know what happened.. I just wanted so STOP Fracking as did you.”

Danny

“The Road to Kill the Bill starts out as an honest and informative insight into the author’s experiences of the anti-fracking protests at Barton Moss and other sites in the north of England, from late 2013 onwards. Working with others to slow down the onshore oil and gas industry, through various successful direct actions, Joe goes on to fight for our rights to protest in the High Court and Court of Appeal, London. As the story eloquently progresses, Joe and many others witness strange behaviour, manipulation and gaslighting by those positioning themselves as leaders in a supposedly non-hierarchical campaign. Joe’s extensive research and expertise uncovers many truths about state involvement in the green movement, still evident today in groups such as Extinction Rebellion, whose large-scale protest events provide the evidence needed to restrict protest.
A fascinating and enlightening read, from a courageous man keen to share his story so others can see the harsh reality of how grassroots protest groups get hijacked by police and the state. This bold and compelling book couldn’t have come at a better time, when our protests rights are about to be severely restricted by various government bills going through Parliament. The wake-up call we all need to read – and share – before it’s too late!

Emily

“Joe’s well presented and acute insight into how the state and industry use underhanded tactics, moles, agitators and undercover agents to infiltrate and control protest movements across
the UK is required reading for anybody involved, or considering becoming involved in any form of “organised” protest and should also serve as a warning that our most fundamental of rights, the right to protest, is under attack from every angle. His keen observations (particularly around the protest controllers at Preston New Road) are observations that myself and others that bore witness, share.
Geology stopped fracking, as many of us believed it would… Just as well really, because controlled protest, is no protest at all.”

Wayne

There is so much important information within this book.

From government – approved corporate deception of shareholders and the general public to the sanctioning of criminal acts by undercover police, all in the name of stifling effective non – violent protest, the author has clearly concisely laid out the bigger picture behind current events.

No doubt about it; truth is stranger than fiction.

Without the slightest exaggeration, I honestly think the message of Joe’s story stands alongside the treatment of Julian Assange as the most important message of our time. Sadly for most, it is a message they will not want to hear or comprehend.

Tim

Having been involved with campaigning since 2005, including against fracking, I read this book with interest. The book deals with the highlights, struggles, emotional investment and immense amount of hard work and time that ordinary people put into opposing industry’s and government policies that potentially threaten our way of life. Opinions vary greatly within any campaign as do the vast array of skills each person can bring, and each skill is invaluable as there is much to be learnt from other people’s contributions – in whatever way they manifest.
The means to the end, and the path that take, differs from person to person and undoubtably different personalities, and their way, surfaces.

It is clear that in order to control any opposition to government polices and an industry’s agenda that that corporate side rears its head gradually within any opposing campaign, not just fracking, planted in the heart campaign – and why would it not?

Joe has written a handbook to pass to the next generation, to be aware of what a determined band of individuals can achieve despite interference from the state and corporations. Tenacity and small groups operating individually yet communicating with like minded others works well. Local small groups cannot be easily compromised whereas larger groups, where accountability and individual responsibility is blurred, can be compromised.

If a job needs to be done, then YOU are the person to do it. This book details how Joe achieved this and the impact he had on the UK judicial process and how the UK government responds to campaigns and protest currently.

A really invaluable insight into one person’s journey to fight the UK fracking industry. An easy to read ‘must’ read.

Of course, within the reviews there is some one stars as you can see, from those who don’t want people to read the truth. That’s hardly surprising after their campaign of gaslighting for the previous decade. I will wait for a few more before I do a separate article on them, so people know who they are.

New book by Environmental and Civil Rights activist an overwhelming success and Update on Police and Crime Bill Committee.

The Road to Kill the Bill was launched on Amazon on the 18th May 2021 and on the Author’s dedicated page on You Caxton Publications on the 1st June. It now costs a penny more to purchase it on Amazon, but that saves £3 postage, so you can obtain the book for just £10. Since its release it has risen to the top of two Hot New Release categories on Amazon, those being Civil Rights and Liberties and Freedom and Security. Equally impressive was its position inside the Top 500 in the all genre category.

At the time of writing all mainstream media outlets have continued to ignore the details of the book, which is a substantive piece of primary research of our democracy being eroded by fake leading climate activists in Northern and Southern England. Other leading figures and organisations have also been contacted, to which several have responded, which will be written about in due course. Thankfully, we do have the alternative media source though and UK Column gives a voice to those challenging a corrupt political system. That media outlet has highlighted the book, described by Patrick Henningsen as a “phenomenal read”.

Several days after UK Column ignited the sales of the book, the author was interviewed in more detail about the book and why its now important that we halt several parts of the Police Bill. This interview was the catalyst for the next rise of the book and its successful first month of sales. The book is now on sale in independent book stores and others most notably Waterstones. Although the book is called The Road to Kill the Bill it’s about so much more, as it identifies the underhanded tactics used through Problem, Reaction, Solution techniques which involved, Strategic Security Services, Agents, National Police Chiefs Council (NPCC), Counter Terrorism Police National Operations Centre (CTP-NOC) and eventually the Metropolitan Police.

Not been Independent in a long time.

Astonishingly, the once independent media outlet Drill or Drop , who has followed the anti fracking campaign for several years, has also chosen to follow the mainstream media stance of silence, showing a clear disdain for those who’ve supported the source over many years. This includes many High Court appearances the author was involved in, before a further Court of Appeal hearing when he successfully challenged the then Richest man in Britain Sir Jim Ratcliffe owner of the petrochemicals company INEOS Details. Its not surprising though, because that media source has been funded by the Joseph Rowntree Reform Trust See here in the form of a grant. Between 1 September 2015 and the 28th February 2017, the media outlet received £3627 from the JRRT. Just to avoid any confusion between this organisation and the Joseph Rowntree Foundation: The Society, an independent charity, is separate from all the Rowntree Trusts although “each makes a financial contribution to aid the Society’s work”

Social change agents are a significant part the contents of this book and how they work against grassroot community resistance, in favour of government, police and business. Therefore, we can safely say that Drill or Drop is no longer independent. A source many real environmentalist are still angry with for the lack of effort in reporting the loss of our great friend Ian R Crane earlier this year.

Police and Crime Bill Committee

Just as the book shows the evidence for the new police bill, primarily comes from the social change group Extinction Rebellion (Not environmental) and the climate quasi-groups before them. The committee debated the Bill during it’s tenth session on the 8th June 2021. Read here

Victoria Atkins (Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the Home Department) began by saying “There is a balancing act between the rights and freedoms of protestors and of those who are not joining in the protest.
We know, sadly, that in recent years some of the tactics used in the course of protests have chipped away at that balance. For example, some protestors delayed an ambulance reaching an A&E ward, putting lives at risk. Some protestors disrupted the transport system during rush hour, delaying hundreds of hard-working people”. Of course, she is talking about Extinction Rebellion during their protests in 2019.

In highlighting the real tension between compelling rights, she continued “some protestors have blockaded printing presses, thereby disrupting the freedom of the press, which I am sure we all acknowledge is a fundamental right. We have been talking about protests with which we may not agree, and I am sure we are all familiar with newspaper articles or depictions in the media with which we may not agree, but it is the right of the free media in our country to report in accordance with that freedom and independence.” Of course, again she is talking about Extinction Rebellion.

Although not involved in the committee, the leader of the opposition Kier Starmer said at the time “The tactics and action of Extinction Rebellion, particularly blockading newspapers, was just wrong in my view and counterproductive.” The book The Road to Kill the Bill highlights this event and identifies, how the productivity of this action only benefitted the Secretary of State for the Home Office Priti Patel and a right wing government. This was unsurprising because everything I had witnessed during the years of my research from the Green climate movement favoured business and NOT people.

Thankfully, the working class are also starting to see right through these social change climate activists and where their allegiances lie. If anyone need to Tell the Truth it’s the Leaders of the Occupy movement related Extinction Rebellion.

Managed protest, no protest at all

Mr Atkins then turn to the detail of clauses 54, 55, 56 and 60, which all relate to the conditions that the police can place on public processions, public assemblies and, by virtue of clause 60, single-person protests.

The police will be able to place conditions on planned or ongoing protests to prevent serious public disorder, serious damage to property or serious disruption to the life of the community. Conditions “may also be imposed on a protest if the purpose of the person organising it is the intimidation of others in order to compel them to do or not to do an act that they have the right to do or not to do.” It hard to understand, what this actually means because it seems to cover everything, so might be interpreted as banning protest,

Clauses 54, 55 and 60 will enable the police to impose conditions on a public procession, public assembly or single-person protest where noise may have a significant impact on those in the vicinity or may result in serious disruption to the activities of an organisation. These same clauses will also confer on the Home Secretary the power, through secondary legislation, to define the meaning of
“serious disruption to the life of the community”
and
“serious disruption to the activities of an organisation which are carried out in the vicinity of a public procession”,
assembly or single-person protest.

Outrageously, the clause will enable the police to impose conditions such as start times on public assemblies, and prevent excessive noise levels. This a significant attack on liberty, freedom of speech and assembly, make no mistake.

My conclusion from the debate was that the balance or rights between people and business in our democracy, will significantly transfer to business. This is unsurprising to me because fracking companies led the way in these changes, followed by the Canada Goose store in Regent Street London through the Civil Courts.

Throughout, this has been unchallenged by Climate led NGOs, human rights organisations and political parties until just before its second reading in the House of Commons. This tells me, that all of these organisations were prepared to hand our power over to corporations, without the majority having any idea of this long-term plan..

In the coming weeks, several radio and podcast interviews will be produced, to promote this work further.
